AROMA PROFILE
Thyme, rosemary, lavender, wormwood and citrus fruits give this extra dry vermouth all the typicity of wild aromatic plants from the Languedoc region.
On ice, as a tonic with a slice of orange or lemon, or as a negroni with our Charlotte's Ink gin.
NOSE
Cherry nose with notes of fresh summer fruits, flowers and wild herbs.
MOUTH
Round, ample, smooth tannins. It reveals a heart of hot spices, red fruits, orange peel and lemon.
FINAL
Long and delicious. The sweetness of lavender and the freshness of lemon.
BEHIND THE LABEL
The vermouth label, entitled “The Fool”, is illustrated by Hugues, a painter...
The Fool Is a tarot card symbolizing the start of a journey and the infinite potential. Represented by a young man with a bundle, often accompanied by a dog and walking towards a precipice, he embodies spontaneity and risk taking.
* The term “extra dry” indicates that this vermouth is even drier than standard vermouth (dry), which means that it contains very little sugar, generally less than 30 grams per liter. This dryness accentuates the flavors of the herbs and spices used to flavor it, creating a sharper taste profile.
